Carien Marais

Founder | Managing Director

Carien is a qualified Marketing and Communications Specialist with extensive experience in this field and has a demonstrated history of success in the entertainment, media and consumer goods industries. Carien has pioneered "first-of-its-kind" industry-changing and transformational business initiatives that propelled revenue growth, brand exposure and market expansion. She is also an experienced Graphic Designer, freelance photographer and video editor.

Dr Johan Marais

Scientific Research

Johan obtained a B.Sc and B.Sc(Hons) degree in Plant Physiology from the University of Potchefstroom (SA), and M.Sc and PhD degrees in the field of Biochemistry from the University of Natal, South Africa.

During his career as Specialist Scientist he made contributions in the fields of plant composition, rumen physiology and made his mark by developing nutritionally superior grass cultivars. He authored chapters in several international scientific textbooks.

Josè Luis Ganado

Regional Manager: Spain & Portugal

Teamwork, people development, flexibility, results orientation, communication orientation and influence in work teams. Time control and economic measurement of decisions. Entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, search for new business opportunities. Ability to work in multicultural environments. I have also launched products in Spain and Portugal in the Pharmacy, Retail, Department Stores and Perfume channels. Achieving annual sales targets and profit.

Clarisse Faure

Regional Manager

(Asia, EU & Switzerland)

Energetic, endlessly enthusiastic, Clarisse works with passion to foster an atmosphere of motivation and performance. Thanks to her diverse experiences at the United Nations, in a leader communication agency, and at Japan Tobacco International (JTI), Clarisse has developed solid communication, project management, and strategic planning skills. Passionate about sustainability issues, she is an adept relationship builder and a change agent. Versatile by nature, her entrepreneurial management style allows her to become a trusted adviser of her colleagues and clients.

Alwyn Marais

Legal Advisor to Solin Naturals

Alwyn has been involved in the management of several companies. He studied at the University of South Africa (UNISA) where he was awarded a LLB (Law) degree. Subsequently he completed his MBA from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. He has extensive experience in the franchising industry and was Operations Manager at a National Food Franchise Head Office for 17 years. Since 2019 he is Co-Founder and Director of his own company and acts as Special Legal Advisor to Solin Naturals on an ad hoc basis.
