Our facility is export-approved and maintains the highest food safety standards. Regular microbiological testing ensures that we only deliver premium quality pet treats. We can trace any pet treat manufactured in our plant from the shelf all the way to the farm of origin.
Our abattoir and deboning plant adheres to the highest food safety standards and legislative requirements, and this has enabled us to maintain European export approval. The farms, abattoir and deboning facility is the only registered closed ostrich compartments in South Africa, ensuring that the entire process from start to finish is controlled, furthering the ability to produce the best quality pet treats in the market.

The ostrich is the world’s largest bird and is found across Africa’s hot savannahs. In South Africa, they are most commonly found in the open woodlands of the Oudtshoorn region.
